Gas prices are up again... what the hell!? Don't they understand that raising prices for any reason won't solve anything? People already know how much the economy in the US sucks right now, and by making it harder for people to buy things just makes it worse. The extra tax refund was supposed to boost the economy, but people just paid bills, and it still isn't enough. The government needs to learn that if you take a risk and drop prices insanely low, then a lot of people will go after it and buy stuff. You will have more buyers if you cut the current prices by 1/3 of its current amount. The lowest gas price I have seen in the local area is 3.21 for regular which is good, but it was cash only. I've also seen a lot of places lowering prices for cash, and it's a little extra for credit.. because credit cards have fees to use them. Credit cards + gas are major problems in this country and no one is doing anything to help it. Auto companies are promoting these cars that have great milage, but what happens when you go to the pump? You end up spending over $60 to fill it up and the average person can't afford that every week. The number one solution to solve America's economy problem: Lower prices on EVERYTHING. People will be able to pay their bills, and spend more money to boost it. Otherwise things will get worse and we'll end up in a depression.
