The goal of the very first Zelda game is to gather 8 fragments of the Triforce of Wisdom in order to rescue Zelda. The layout is a top-down perspective.

On the way you collect various items, weapons and armor to help you advance in the game. When you get past level 3, you might need stronger weapons to help you kill enemies quicker.
